How Carl helps
Carl is a systems builder. Whether it's a new business, a growing one, or a campaign, he sets up the pieces that make it run and connects them so they work together.
New business setup
Plenty of people have a great product or service and no idea where to start. Carl walks founders through getting the business off the ground: forming the business entity, getting an EIN, setting up a business mailing address, payments, and customer intake, and building the website. He works alongside your attorney and accountant, not in place of them.
Websites
Fast, secure, flat-rate websites with ongoing Care Plans. Most are built static, so they load quickly and are extremely hard to hack, and clients can update their own content through a simple editing form.
Campaigns and organizations
Campaign websites and digital outreach for candidates and member-driven organizations. Carl learned campaign work from the ground up, including grassroots marketing, membership growth, and fundraising, and brought what he learned into each campaign that followed.
About Carl
Carl Loser is a web developer and entrepreneur based in the Triad region of North Carolina, where he runs StoneBridge Solutions.
Carl grew up on Long Island, New York, and moved to Virginia with his family at fifteen. He played football at Powhatan High School as an offensive lineman and defensive tackle, where he learned early what it means to do your job so the people next to you can do theirs.
Carl's life has been a crash course in learning by doing. He started at VCU, realized he wasn't ready yet, and came back focused, earning straight A's at John Tyler Community College. From there he set his sights on law and earned an Associate of Applied Science in Paralegal Studies through an ABA-approved program at J. Sargeant Reynolds Community College. Along the way he has worked overnight warehouse shifts, served tables, run industrial machines through 72-hour weeks, and built businesses of his own. Each of those jobs reinforced the same lesson: show up and do the work.
The thread through Carl's career is making information accurate and easy to find. He did it with legal case files, with grocery pricing data, and does it now with websites and systems for small businesses.
Work
StoneBridge Solutions Inc.
Carl founded StoneBridge Solutions to give small businesses a professional web presence without agency pricing or agency headaches. The company builds flat-rate websites and supports them with ongoing Care Plans.
Most StoneBridge sites are built static, which makes them fast, inexpensive to host, and extremely hard to hack. For clients who want to make their own updates, Carl adds a simple login and editing form, so they can change content without breaking the design or calling a developer.
